Midrakh Oz Synagogue

Project: Midrakh Oz Synagogue
Team: Architect Shoham Ben Ari | Architect Roni Zimmer Doctori
Client: Midrakh Oz
Location: Midrakh Oz, Izrael valley

The new synagogue triples the area of the synagogue, and also provides adequate space for 100 new families who joined Midrakh Oz in a newly built addition. A “Beit Midrash” (the traditional room for adult study), a library, a spacious women’s wing and modern facilities including a small kitchen for life cycle celebrations are also planned. At the entrance there are decorative stained glass windows by the artist Zohar Jules and the entire facade is wrapped in lace concrete and glass in a design that refers to the old building but gives it a new spirit.
