Project: Hazan hills (Bnei Dekalim)

Team: Architect Uri Harel | Architect Assaf Kashtan

Location: Lachish region

Bnei Dekalim (initially also called Givat Hazan, after the Hazan Caves located in the northern neighborhood) is a community settlement that was established as a permanent residence for the community of Neveh Dekalim, which was evacuated from its home in the secession plan. The settlement was planned for 150 families in the first phase, and in total for 500 families. The settlement is located in the Lachish region, near Moshav Shekef, and is named after the largest of the Gush Katif settlements – Neveh Dekalim.
